This user reports that when playing podcasts through CarPlay via the latest version of Pocket Casts, with intelligent playback enabled, the sound doesn't come through.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

Per user:

I started my car and CarPlay launched on my car’s stereo receiver. Pocket Casts seemed to be playing, but no sound was produced.

  • This isn’t the first time or the first version of Pocket Casts to do this. It just happens in CarPlay.
  • It happens semi-regularly on multiple podcasts. I can provide the URL for this podcast in particular however.
