This is an idea I had, where basically cast iron would literally be casted. If TCon was installed, it would override the smelting recipe and add some sort of alloy recipe. It would make molten cast iron, which you could cast in to ingots with TConstruct's smeltery. I don't really know what the recipe would be, because you would still want to be able to cast regular iron ingots, but this is really just an idea.

Hrm, sounds reasonable, if I can think of a way to implement the recipe - although I've been having difficulty adding support for smeltery based materials. I'll certainly look into it.
