TConstruct alloying #307
Comments
When I originally added TConstruct compatibility, there was no clean way to register casting in the smeltery, only melting. I think that's now changed, which should make this fairly easy to add. |
I don't think (?) this has been touched yet. I'll work on this. |
Cool :D |
Hmm what should the temp, density, viscosity, and luminosity be for the molten zinc and brass? |
Not sure. I did make the fluids last time, before it was actually possible in the TiCon api to add custom casting, so maybe check them? |
I found the Fluid and Block for them but you must've deleted the part when you initialised them |
What does luminosity do? |
Effects if the fluid glows or not afaik |
ah. |
OH found the values from tinkers construct. I'll just reuse some of them |
Also sorry once again forgot to turn off my formatter. RIP your formatting The start of fixing #307
I'm still going to do this, but I'll wait until steamcraft has moved om from 1.7. |
In the version I have, which I believe is the most recent, the only way to make brass is with dusts. I would really like to be able to alloy brass in a tcon smeltery, but there is no molten brass. It just feel weird making bronze in a smeltery and brass in a crafting grid.
