Summary

The "customer" complained quite a bit that our screenshots were hard to read and that we were "wasting space". Despite the fact that his remarks go completely against modern design practices and ignore the inherent limitations of PowerPoint slides, I think that we could meet in the middle and use mobile screenshots in our application demo. We already use Bootstrap, so I think this is a completely feasible task that will help us have a more favorable outcome during the demo.

Implementation

  • Add a profile to the Selenium E2E tests with a browser resolution similar to that of a modern iPhone or Pixel 4.
  • Audit all pages of the application for usability and readability on a mobile device (Use Chrome dev tools and select Pixel 4 as the screen type).
  • Create issues and add them below on things that need to be fixed for full mobile functionality (this issue is an epic so they will be tracked here).
