Steps to reproduce the error

Currently, the thumbnails of our avatars load at full resolution. For example, when loading a project on the production platform site, my six largest assets loaded are avatars:

The largest of which is possibly the most prolific user of the platform, @dpalomino:

This 4599 × 3066 pixels 5.4MB image loads on the project dashboard for every project of which David is a member.

Expected behavior

We should be thumbnailing the images on upload or display. I do recall this being discussed in the past, however I was unable to find an issue for it.
