It seems really easy to get into a place where I cannot install anything because there is a missing function. I think it was api_prefix()

Please add and test some uninstall directions.. and see if this "interdependancy" bug can be removed somehow...

If this does not quickly replicate for you, then lets leave it and the next time I have the problem I will more carefully detail exactly the steps I took to get there..
