This would be nice. Honestly I wouldn't be opposed to making this a Chatterino function instead of a plugin. Modifying message context menus with the ability to tell what element was clicked is would also be nice.

Yes, that would be great.
But as far as I know, 7TV / BetterTTV currently does not provide a way to authorize third-party applications or obtain an authorization token. Additionally, the token will expire after 6 months, without the ability to refresh it.

The only way to obtain a user's token at the moment is to use the DevTools. However, not every user will be able to understand how to do this. I suggest adding this to the External tools section.
