Is Base100_Carrier.stl supposed to cover Base100_Frame.stl? #11
Comments
The "Carrier" bodies are not fully covering floors, they are carrier planes that snap into the frames to carry additional PCBs. They don't do anything by themselves and would need mounting hardware designed on them for example. They are optional and if you don't know what to do with it, you do not need to print one. Can you share what you mean with "does not fit" as it appears to fit as designed for me? |
by does not fit, I mean the base plates "carriers" do not cover the base fully. I could they be redesigned to actually cover the entire floor? also... I was thinking. perhaps the frames could be redesigned to have modular floors (carriers) with stand offs? |
Correct. It was never intended to cover the entire floor.
The parts lists are found under the respective modules / PCBs in
Sure, feel free to redesign! |
That statement is true. |
Is Base100_Carrier.stl supposed to be a floor for Base100_Frame.stl because it does not fit.
