Cleaning Data

• Fix lines in errors.csv

Adding to dataset

• Add columns w/ UCR data (from UCR codes)
  • Find UCR code definition list (saved as crime_codes.txt)
  • Convert crime_codes.txt into csv
  • Further split field metadata (see crime_codes_organizing.xlsx)
    • time period
    • weapon: gun, knife, strongarm, other weapon
    • forced entry: timeframe
    • motor vehicle theft: type of vehicle
    • other metadata (work by section)
• Calculate "average date" of Occur Date & Possible Date
• Add date metadata (year, month, week, etc)
• Rename & reorder columns
