Dina giggled, her eyes wide with excitement. "What are we going to do?"

Alice leaned in, her voice low and conspiratorial. "We're going to nominate Lily for prom queen and Jake for prom king. Then, we'll get Jake to flirt with her, make her think he likes her, and just when she's about to kiss him, he'll push her into the food table. It'll be hilarious."

Nina and Dina exchanged gleeful looks, already imagining the scene. "That's brilliant, Alice," Nina said.

Alice's smile widened. "I know. Now, let's get to work."

Chapter 2: The Nomination

The next day, the school was buzzing with excitement as students cast their votes for prom king and queen. Lily, oblivious to Alice's plan, was focused on her studies. She didn't even notice when Alice and her minions slipped their votes into the ballot box.

At lunch, Alice approached Jake, the school's star athlete and heartthrob. "Hey, Jake," she said, batting her eyelashes.

Jake looked up from his sandwich, raising an eyebrow. "What do you want, Alice?"

Alice leaned in, her voice sweet as honey. "I have a little favor to ask. How would you like to be prom king?"

Jake frowned. "What's the catch?"

Alice's smile turned sly. "All you have to do is flirt with Lily, make her think you like her, and then push her into the food table at prom. It'll be a great laugh."

Jake hesitated, glancing over at Lily, who was sitting alone, reading her book. "I don't know, Alice. That seems pretty mean."

Alice's eyes narrowed. "Come on, Jake. It's just a joke. Besides, you'll be prom king. Think about it."

Jake sighed, reluctantly nodding. "Fine. I'll do it."

Chapter 3: The Prom

The night of the prom arrived, and the gymnasium was transformed into a glittering wonderland. Lily, dressed in a simple but elegant dress, felt a flutter of excitement as she entered the room. She had never been to a school dance before, and despite her nerves, she was determined to have a good time.

As the night went on, the moment of truth arrived. The principal took the stage, holding an envelope. "And now, the moment you've all been waiting for. The prom king and queen are... Jake and Lily!"

Lily's eyes widened in shock as the crowd erupted into applause. She made her way to the stage, her heart pounding. Jake met her there, offering her a charming smile.

"Congratulations, Lily," he said, taking her hand.

Lily blushed, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "Thank you, Jake."

As they danced, Jake leaned in, his voice soft. "You look beautiful tonight, Lily."

Lily's heart soared, and for a moment, she allowed herself to believe that this night could be magical. But as they danced closer to the food table, Jake's grip tightened.

"Jake, what are you—" Lily began, but before she could finish, Jake shoved her hard. She stumbled, crashing into the table, sending plates and dishes flying.

The room fell silent for a moment, and then the laughter began. Alice, Nina, and Dina led the charge, throwing food at Lily. Soon, the entire room joined in, pelting her with everything from mashed potatoes to cake.

Lily stood there, humiliated and covered in food, tears streaming down her face. She ran from the gym, the sound of laughter echoing in her ears.

Alice watched her go, a satisfied smirk on her face. "Well, that was fun," she said, turning to her minions. "Let's see what other trouble we can get into."

But as Lily fled into the night, she vowed that she would not let this break her. She would rise above the cruelty and show them all just how strong she could be.
