Some users (especially at events) may be accessing Beacon using a mobile device.

Desired solution

Ensure that the interface is optimized for mobile use.

Sounds good. Please be sure to open a work in progress PR, or break this into a series of PRs, before getting too far into the work. I want to make sure that you don't end up doing a lot of work that makes too many changes at once.
