Perhaps this should be a new ticket, since it is a new API source, but, I have for years enjoyed Ohloh (now OpenHub) 'factoid' stats that are derived from source code analysis. Whether we use this API directly, or provide counts similar by doing comparisons of metrics, this is def 'of interest' to the OSPO :)
