Special characters (umlauts) not working in URL's and E-Mail adress fields

In Germany there are special characters (umlauts) like ä, ö, ü, ß.
You can host a domain with such characters, and so you might have a E-Mail adress with such special characters too.
For third parties you can define a URL and a E-Mail adress.
For contact persons you can define a E-Mail adress.

You can input the special characters, but it is not stored correctly.
E.g. müller.de is getting mller.de.

These input fields should allow special characters like e.g. umlauts.
