How can I run model-vs-model diagnostics?

An example configuration can be found in the [[ atm_monthly_180x360_aave_mvm ]] task of https://github.com/E3SM-Project/zppy/blob/main/tests/integration/template_complete_run.cfg. Replace the values accordingly to match what you need.

You will need to provide values for more parameters than model-vs-obs runs, in order to fully specify what the reference data will be. See the notes for run_type = string(default="model_vs_obs") on https://github.com/E3SM-Project/zppy/blob/main/zppy/templates/default.ini. The notes currently are:

Note that since you can specify ref years specific to the reference data, your reference data does not need to be of the same length as your test data.
