A key performance evaluator for turbine stages is how the turbine behaves at off-peak performance points.

This is of particular importance when it comes to identifying performance variations and sensitivity at off-design conditions

As such, it is recommended that a model be implemented to allow for incidence losses to be accounted for in the mean-line design, thus allowing for off-peak performance to be evaluated.
