Right now different channels are treated differently, but there is little indication that this is happening, It would be much better to have some kind of explicit channel math / settings panel where all of this could be stated clearly. Also, virtual channels could be created mathematically from other channels given some equations.

Hi, I tried to install QANT by following all the instructions provided here. When I try to run QANT on IGOR it gives me the following error:
name or string too long
error in QANT.ipf?
'function /s QANT_LoadNEXAFSfile_bs_streaming(pathn) // BS_streaming suitcase'

huh, this is not the right place for this, but to answer the question, it appears that you are using an older version of Igor Pro. I am working on making it more backwards compatible
