It would be helpful to add a namelist example file (CASENAME_run.nml) to the source code, in the same way, there is a make.inc_example file.

Trying to run the Estuary example with the last FVCOM version v5.0.1, the model requested to add three namelist sections: &NML_NETCDF_SURFACE, &NML_MLD, and &NML_HEATFLUX_SEDIMENT. The first is intuitive, but there is no documentation describing the parameters for the others.
