I employed the development version, though I haven't yet tested this in the live version.
I chose the PLI Hippocampus, which resulted in a reordering of the canvas to align with the incoming volume (here, the hippocampus). I suspect this was done for technical reasons, but I found this behavior quite unusual as the original cutting direction was shifted to the bottom left canvas.
Subsequently, I selected the option to display the wireframe. I believe there might be a bug, as sections are appearing in the bottom left canvas, which is now representing the original cutting direction. It's my understanding that there shouldn't be any 1µm sections intersecting this section at a right angle. Did I overlook a rotation somewhere? Unfortunately, I tend to lose track fairly quickly when dealing with a rotating template.

This, unfortunately, is something we need to work on. (the viewer itself does not know the original cutting plane, and is only able to snap the orientation to one of the three (?) possible orientations. )
