FizBuz Onboarding Guide

Hi welcome to FizBuz! This guide will help you understand how to create and manage your FizBuz account!

Creating An Account

Head over to https://fizbuz.com/login and simply sign in with your Github account! After logging in you will be presented with your dashboard which we will dive into now!

Core

In this section you will edit your email, name, nickname, location, about, pronouns and profile picture. Most of this information is pulled from your Github profile.

External Links

Where else can you be found on the internet? The external links page is where you edit

Job Preferences

In this section you can edit what type of job you are looking or not looking for. Want to work for a startup and not a C-corp? Let the world know!

Skills

In this section you add self assessments of your skillset. Are you a javascript ninja or a PHP warrior? This is the section that houses this info as well as proficiency in libraries, frameworks and specialties.

Experiences

The experiences page is where you put all past work experience from employeers, conferences and anyother workshops and/or meetups you have attended

Activities

Are you a content creator of any kind? Perhaps you have an open source project, or you blog or create YouTube videos? Any and all of such should be included in the activities page of the dashboard.

Public Profile

Congrats you have edited your dashboard profile now if you head over to your public profile you should see something similar to this (but with your content)
