Migration from Vanilla3 issue with Private messages

I have a bunch of private messages that have been imported (Using https://github.com/linc/nitro-porter/) into the Discussions and Posts tables for Flarum. Question I have is if create a new private message it creates an entry in the discussions table and the format looks the same as all the other private messages in the same table that I know are private messages. Is there another table location where your plugin finds/stores what messages are private or does it just scan the Discussion table for is_private=1.

I cannot seem to get my old private messages to show up in your plugin!
