This is more a passing something along. I have a new laptop and being a gluten for punishment, I dual booted linux. Currently running Ubuntu 23.10 with gns3 2.2.33.1... uh.... custom..
Any way I could not get right click to work right. I added some debug statements in GNS3 and noticed it kept detected left click.
I installed the libinput-tools package which includes libinput.
libinput debug-events
will show you everything that is firing. This as well was showing left click only firing. After playing around with the mouse a little I figured out ubuntu was only firing right click on the bottom right of the mouse pad. I kept using two fingers for the right click but really it looks like it was just one click in lower right. Lower middle does middle everywhere else is a left click.
Night!
