Synchronise hidden files other than .grive*

Given that the only files that grive needs to ignore are .grive and .grive_state, would it not be better to avoid synchronising .grive* rather than .*? The current implementation prevents the use of encfs folders on Google Drive (as encfs stores important information in .encfs6.xml and this isn't pulled down by grive).

Can't use Grive to sync a Jenkins configuration directory named .hudson before Grive supports sync of .* files, so this feature would be of great interest, thank you.
