MaterialEntry show password icon and hide password icon are visible but if I click in its place, it will work.

We are excited to announce that we are working on a new generation of controls based on Material Design V3.
In the upcoming version, we have removed the show password and hide password icons out of the box, instead, you will be able to use the leading and trailing icons to cover the feature of showing or hiding that password.
We don't have in mind to continue investing resources to fix or improve the current version (V2), we are doing focus on V3, but we are always open to receiving contributions with pull requests.
