I don't own a Switch, but have a friend who does and have used them recently with that device, and both SL and SR work fine with a Switch on both controller halves. They aren't broken.
I bought these to replace a Raze Hydra that finally died a while back. The drivers for that are long since uninstalled. It was another PC build, so it's not remnants of those drivers.
No other input mappers are installed. I have a DS5, but only ever use that with Steam and it is not connected.
I'm only using the left half as an alternative to KB+M for movement. I have a gaming mouse with a num pad on the side for hotkeys.
I've checked, rechecked, and checked again. I am sure my binding configs are correct for those two inputs.
No input log is created in the command prompt when pressing them. Every other button, the gyros, and the sticks all create input logging in the command prompt.
I have tested both left and right, both have the same result. No input log in the command prompt.
They just don't do anything when hooked up to my PC and don't seem to create any input at all.
Part of the reason I went with this option was because it supposedly allowed for binding those buttons. I was hoping to put esc and enter on those buttons, but it seems to be a no go.
No idea if this is a bug or what.
