This project is incredibly cool for english-speaking people.
But it would be even better if it could support more languages (in my case, french)

I see this effort in distinct steps.

  • Move current times folder in an en folder
  • Create a fr folder (or any other language folder)
  • Find quotes for fr
  • Change UI to add a locale selector (listing the various locales), and default that selector to detected browser language

This would be great! But I think it should be a seperate fork.

Hey, I´ve been using Literature Clock for a while and it´s become a staple of my Windows machines, but I can´t share it since I´m Brazilian and everyone I know only speaks Brazilian Portuguese.
Can I attempt to do the process outlined above for pt-BR and, if so, how would I go about it? I´m new to GitHub.

Hey folks, I continued working to improve the literature clock and I've got this new project https://github.com/cdmoro/literature-clock

This version of the literature clock has a bunch of features, and supports quotes in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian :D

@Speedster04BRA you can try the Portuguese version here https://literatureclock.netlify.app/?locale=pt-BR
@Riduidel the French version https://literatureclock.netlify.app/?locale=fr-FR

The quotes were translated from the English CSV so there might be a few quotes with errors. Let me know what you think! Hope you like it!

Nice! Those are some really cool features. I really like the direct link to a github form for suggesting quotes.

Thanks for the inspiration, mate! Just released a new feature, the Screensaver mode :D https://literatureclock.netlify.app/?screensaver=true

Cheers!
