Strange problem using module

Hi,
if I use sp simple portfolio as a menu item type everything work fine but if I use it as a joomla module in sppb or in a joomla article when I click on a thumb, however the item page detail is correct, the path is not

ie
http://......../prod/cat/item/2-.... (correct path)
http://......../prod/cat1/item/2-.... (not correct using spsp module) cat1 should be cat

How can I fix this problem.

Nope. It seems you can't use it as a module
