Normally we'd say "use the latest retail version" because we're pretty quick at catching any ID shifts/data changes, but we're currently one month behind. This might lead to a little bit of warning logging when people log in with up to date retail installs, I'm not sure of that one. Though, we haven't noticed any big changes this month, so a current retail install should be fine. |

Yesterday I compiled base/release and made a fresh char. I'm on retail client version 30210604_1 (June update) and noticed that in East Sarutabaruta and Horutoru Ruins NPCs were giving wrong/no dialogues. Checked retail and found that all zone specific message IDs there had shifted 3 to the right. I see the last branch regarding IDs is from May. Is this already being covered or could I go through zones and push what I'm able to find? |

I think a more automated version update tool is going to get pushed pretty high on our priority lists this month, we're starting to fall behind and shifts are getting noticeable 😢 |

Is there a recommended client version? and how would I get my hands on that specific version? Latest retail?
