Unless a consistent method for finding the image can be figured out, so we can just go through the DOM to get the image, this functionality will need to happen through the Instagram API. This method shouldn't cause a problem for the browser extensions, but could be problematic to implement in the bookmarklet.
It should be possible to build a Safari App Extension, similar to what is needed for MacOS, to replace the need for the bookmarklet in Safari for iOS.
