Intitally, after running register.cmd crashed my explorer multiple times. And i could not open explorer file and right click menu. As i clicked explorer or right click it would go on wholescreen irresponding. Then i system restore my windows from previous system restore shorcut. But after again i tried but luckily it isnt throwing erros but rather it says succeed. Even though it is not able to give blur and transparency to background. Meanwhile it is able to pick rgb color but it doesnt show up any of the effect. I found all the 24H2 users are facing same problems. Please developer; @Maplespe @slideglide @OnCloud125252 @ALTaleX531 @lengoc-quang ,fix this isseue asap.

Disabling the energy/battery saver did the trick for me.

You should turn off energy saver mode, plug in your computer and restart, then it should work.

Hi! I'm also having problems. I'm on a desktop computer, so the energy saving option isn't applicable.
For me, ExplorerBlurMica works fine for the first minutes, but after a while, the Explorer.exe gets unresponsible, and I just can't open it anymore.
My only workaround is the navigate to the ExplorerBlurMica folder, trough Flow Launcher, and uninstall it.

What is your Windows version?
What version of ExplorerBlurMica are you using?
Can you screenshot or record a video?

Hi lengoc-quang, I'm on the latest Windows 11 version (24H2). I could make a screenshot or a video, but there is really nothing that would show.
Essentially, I install ExplorerBlurMica running the register.bat file. I can tell it works cause my explorer looks gorgeous.
After a while using Windows, when I try to open a new window with Win+E, I just see the windows loading mouse icon.
I tried restarting explorer.exe through Task Manager but even after the restart, explorer windows won't open.
In general the system seems to be working. I can use and open programs, I can click the Start menu... the only thing that doesn't is opening new windows, even through the Start Menu.

Hi lengoc-quang, I'm using the latest version of Windows 11 (24H2). I could provide a screenshot or video, but there’s really nothing to show.
Basically, I install ExplorerBlurMica by running the register.bat file. I can tell it’s working because my Explorer looks amazing. However, after using Windows for a while, when I try to open a new window with Win + E, I only see the loading mouse icon.
I tried restarting explorer.exe through Task Manager, but even after the restart, Explorer windows still won’t open.
Overall, the system seems to be functioning normally. I can open and use programs, and the Start menu works. The only issue is that new windows won’t open—even through the Start menu.

The only workaround is to navigate to uninstall.cmd using the Flow launcher. After uninstalling ExplorerBlurMica everything returns to normal.

You can try to use version 1.0.7 of ExplorerBlurMica.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll do this and post my result in the weekend.

I used the 1.0.7 version of ExplorerBlurMica over the weekend and had no issues whatsoever.
Thank you very much for your suggestion!
