count exercise repetitions based on detected peaks and valleys #14

The issue with counting the number of peak and valleys is the fact that many peaks and valleys exist because of irregular movement, which happens before or after doing an exercise.

ideas and issues to keep in mind:

  • during an exercise, peaks and valleys should have similar magnitudes
  • once the movement changes significantly (deviation?) the count should start anew
