Build failed when building the application on android

Hello,

I have integrated the ionic 3 chat app. and I am using the ionic 3 native plugin (background mode). It is working fine in IOS platform but when building it in Android (using command => ionic Cordova run android or ionic Cordova build android) it always throws error related to gradle.

plugin seems like dead.
