HXN: updates for successful deployment 18-3
Seems like a good project. Someone will be assigned to create a recipe/feedstock in https://github.com/nsls-ii-forge for the project as an exercise to learn |
@jklynch, do you mind to take care of it? |
Hi Maksim,
I will package recordwhat. There is no PyPI package or recipe that I could find. I will use event-model as a template, unless you are aware of an existing package.
Josh

attn @klauer about getting a pypi package. |
Is it being used, or can we just drop it altogether @tacaswell? I've found a lot of recordwhat to be unusably old and broken... |
If you don't think it is useful anymore we can drop it, but I think we still want to be able to parse db/dbd files.... |
I think all recordwhat's grammar definitions of db/dbd are slightly off. At some point, it might be interesting to base a more complete version on https://github.com/epicsdeb/pypdb , though there's a lot of work there in making it readable/maintainable/user-friendly. |

We also have a fork of this on NSLS-II, but target this at Ken's repo.
