Polkadot js plus extension, or for short Plus, is actually the original Polkadot js extension, plus some new features. It is going to be a user-friendly wallet to interact with the Polkadot/Substrate based blockchains/parachains through a browser. It allows users to access their account(s), which can also be used to interact with decentralized apps.
Plus is based on Polkadot js extension, hence do whatever the original extension can do and get constantly updating with it. Both extensions can be run simultaneously, but with Plus you do not need to install the original extension, because Plus do whatever the original extension do even more.
The following features currently available in Plus:
- View balances in crypto and USD
- Transfer funds
- View an address as QR code
- Easy staking (nominate/rebag/Stake/unstake/redeem funds and also edit nominated validator list)
- View Auctions and contribute in crowdloans
- Governance (vote referendums, second proposals, vote/unvote councils, propose treasury proposals and tips, etc.)
