The first time when you run docker-compose up after cloning the NorESM-LSP, you clone CTSM and check out its externals. However, this can easily get buried in the console logs, giving the impression that the installation is finished while it still needs to finalize this step before you can load the GUI. Trying to access it beforehand gives you a loading screen without any further information, which can give the impression that something went wrong and in the worst case may cause people to stop the containers during model checkout.
Could we print some state information or warning about this during the first time installation?
