Greetings from Doolin and Fanore, Ireland! I got the message and will take care. Nice to read you are curious and interested. So you mean creating such a repository has been quite an acceptable idea?
I just wrote a Musescore 2 QML plugin today to help editors to come up with d-whistle fingering charts for beginners when editing scores. There used to be a Javascript version before but for older Musescore (not working in new version and dependency to some Font from next author actually using Sibelius as a Score writer program). Now I am starting to create an own Font in formats as needed and packaging this with the plugin. And sure the plugin can still be improved.
The plan is to share some scores as well. Eventually write a printable whistle book, too. Most likely writing an Smartphone / Tablet and/or Desktop App as well capable of displaying and playing the scores as ogg/mp3 plus more text explanations and help on whistling or selection of whistles.
More is coming soon, but sorry... there's still "Whiskey in the Jar" and I have to meet with Captain Farrell!
