The LAS Specification 1.4 - R14 states on page 22: "The Red, Green, and Blue values should always be normalized to 16-bit values." Currently, the LAS datasets of TUM-FAÇADE use 8bit, whereby many software solutions scale the color values automatically.
However, it could be beneficial to fully adhere to the specification and directly use 16 bit color values.
