Short to Supply

Hello all and let me start by saying THANKS to all the work people have put into this.

Took me a few days, but I finally got things installed on a 4Plus I got for parts on ebay.

The first issue I had and was the main reason for taking so long is that the fan on the motherboard doesn't seem to work. It never turns on, as a result the rockchip portion of the motherboard overheats and shutsdown. I replaced the fan, but still no power. As a short-term I plugged a USB fan into port and have it working and is keeping it down to 70.

Once I was able to keep the system on long enough, installing things become MUCH easier.

Any thoughts? This thing has become my white whale!
