15 January 25 Update - Milestone 1

We’ve reached Milestone 1 - https://github.com/Panopticon-AI-team/panopticon/milestone/1?closed=1! A basic "dummy" scenario and code framework for reinforcement learning (RL) has been set up and successfully tested using Python.

Next Steps:

Define the next milestone, which will visualize the agent running through the scenario. Think through the architecture of the front end vs back end especially for the simulation. Visualization will be important for understanding and refining the training process and then demonstrating success. Also begin exploring hyperparameter tuning as a potential area for improvement.
