The circuit was powered with a 5V through USB and includes a 3rd party 3W speaker

I purchased includes an impedance of 8 ohms, and since the current was only 5V it did

not require any added resistance!

The concept of this project was to make a music box where the main goal is to make music play by opening it. I made the box out of cardboard with a small cutout for the USB

connection and I programmed my arduino to use a motion sensor to detect when the lid of my box was lifted. When the lid is opened, a 3W speaker plays the Harry Potter song "Hedwig's Theme".

I used the
tone()
function to push the frequencies I needed to my speaker and the header file
pitches.h
was used to map frequencies to note names, ex.
NOTE_C4 = 262.
