Shapekeys Supported? #4
Comments
Hey, It is "working" as you described, because every time you manually update, it applies the current shape key. I do not currently have a lot of time for development on this project, but full support for shape keys is on the todo list for this addon. |
Sorry, I had tried the addon without reading the README. As a result, I was not informed of your todo list. Thanks for the response though! |
Hey, No worries. It makes my dev blood boil ! I may implement shapekeys as well as minimum/maximum deformation values in the next days. Will see :D If you have any other ideas of features, feel free to open an issue for each of them, they are very welcome. Best regards |
Good news everyone! It works with shape keys in the latest 2.83! |
That's both great news and weird news xD
I'll have to check it out when I have time (sadly not in the near future
:/).

Hey, good addon for bones, but for shapekey support, at least in the latest official Blender release it seems to have some issues properly updating in realtime. I need to mix two normal maps; one being a detail map and the other being a wrinkle map for the forehead of my character. The issues arise when I try and move the bone to which the shapekeys do their work, but the tension map won't update. I need to manually click the update button which I don't think would be able to animate in a final animation.
