Everything marked with a tick?

Hi mate not really sure what's happening here but for some reason everything is marked as watched with the ticks on every cover art, not sure if this is a skin issue or kodi itself but if i navigate to the same screen using umbrella all seems fine, using mavens nexus 20

Is it just the icon that shows on everything? or is it actually being marked as watched?
And is it literally everything?
So like if you selected the skin option Hide Watched you're whole library would be pretty much non-existent?

Have you tried anything to fix it?

Because this kind of sounds like the same issue I was having when I switched to a version past nexus rc1.
I was dealing with bad NFO files and OLD scrapers that just didn't work.

In the video below you can see the video files "disappear", that's because every file that couldn't scan in correctly was scanning in marked as watched(and technically unplayable) and for some reason the hide watched option was initiated so everything just disappeared that couldn't load in.

50 shows in folder, after scan only shows 15ish.

Scrapers

• Due to the above breaking API change, the TVDB TV Show scraper was updated to prevent breaking. The result is that the updated scraper will be broken on any Kodi v20 release prior to this RC1 release. If you are using an older v20 install, then you need to update for continued functioning of the TMDB TV Show scraper.
• In addition, we took this opportunity to fix a long outstanding issue with the Python TV Show scrapers described here. The result is that if you are adding new episodes to existing TV shows in your library, you need to refresh the show to download the new episode guide. If you are using NFO files, the episode guide in those files needs updating also.
• TMDB TV Shows and TV Maze scrapers have been updated, with TVDB v4 to be updated in the near future. More details can be found here.

I wasn't able to find where the issue was happening at, but I am positive it was something to do with the scraping process and how kodi uses that information; I tried uninstalling all my scrapers, removing my sources, cleaning database, lower versions of kodi, different AppData\Roaming\Kodi files, the only solution I was able to get to work was a fresh data directory(and fixing my underlining NFO problem).
I had to reinstall kodi and auramod. Then setup all my preferences again(still not even done yet).

Hopefully that's not the case for you, but you might be able to copy the data files to a new directoy then delete the originals. Run kodi(so kodi will make a new data directory) install auramod(with it's dependencies), then close kodi take the old auramod userdata settings you just copied over from inside the data directory, replace the new one with the old one you just copied to another directoy and then reopen kodi.

btw I mean these files:
\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\addon_data\skin.auramod\

Not these files:
AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\skin.auramod\

Oh I think you're using Andriod right, so:
These:
Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/skin.auramod/

Not these:
Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/addons/skin.auramod/

Regardless, I think this can be solved by not using old files from older versions. And a fresh install would work fine(ish).
Let me know what you've tried and what works!
And any logs.

Literally everything but it's just got ticks so I'm not sure what's going on, I'll have another look tonight, I've tried clearing cache, thumbnails, textures db the lot, it's odd as this issue doesn't persist when using umbrella, only fen so I'm not sure what's going on? I could maybe get a log to you but would i just need to get the log running then exit then send it over?

I forgot to add they only show as ticked in that view and within the addon, when displayed as widgets all seems fine on the homescreen

Do you think maybe if i reinstalled fen it could fix the issue? Might be worth a try

UPDATE : it appears to be a bug with fens latest update as I've rolled back to a previous version to test, will close this issue now

I've re opened this as the Fen Dev asked if i was in contact about it here, I'm not sure it's an addon issue

Does this happen in Estuary as well?
Can you play the files?
Can you re-mark them as unwatched?
Have you tested this out from a fresh userdata directory?
(rename the userdata directory, start kodi. scan your video source directory. if problem happens, it's not auramod. if it doesn't, then its auramod or an auramod component. Delete new userdata directory rename old one back to original name.)

Yeah. Turn on kodi, dont play files, dont open widgets. Just let kodi turn on and wait for it to load and then use that.
I need to see what version of all the addons your running are, and if you're getting any weird loading error.
Or open fen, however that works idk.

I don't see how this could be a skin issue. Especially if it's only happening with Fen items.
And the code behind the watched indicator values didn't change.
