Bug Description

Please provide a Linux appimage. For us who don't use flatpaks (or don't have the right to install it), appimages is the only way to get Sigil easily.

We'd love to, quite frankly. Unfortunately... Sigil's complexity (multiple binaries sharing the same libs for one thing) have proven an insurmountable hurdle. We don't want to release anything that doesn't support Sigil's full feature set (especially 3rd party plugins). Just know that this is never off of our radar. I will continue to try and find a way to make it all happen as an appimage.

Also note that appimages in genereral are not the drop-dead simple solution they once were. They no longer work "out of the box" everywhere:
