I've looked through all the docs that I could find and I've not been able to find any information about this topic so I'm posting it here.
I am looking for something that automatically scan a subnet/prefix and add the hosts that it sees in his database. I was using previously phpIPAM but it stopped working and was overhaul too slow ... However, a useful thing was the discover with PING that was pinging all the IPs of a subnet, going though DNS and searching for the reverse lookup and adding it the the interface.
I'm wondering if it has a same thing on NIPAP or maybe a link with some kind of DNS server or a Zabbix integration and adding the entry automatically because with more than a 100 of different subnet and over a 1000 host (ipv4 and v6 combined) it will be a pain in the ass to add it manually.
Thanks
