Hey bud love the idea of the plugin. I think to avoid PVP abuse they should be immune to damage and to prevent damage for 30 seconds.
Also is there a way for players to retrieve their items if they die in an enemies town/faction?

You mean the ghost players? You don't think they should be invulnerable the whole time? They're ghosts after all..
Also is there a way for players to retrieve their items if they die in an enemies town/faction?
Not sure what you mean, if a player dies in an enemy base - they would have to walk back there and grab their stuff. This would also mean they would respawn there, which would be inconvenient to say the least I guess.
What I meant, is that a player should be immune from damage and dealing damage after they have respawned.
Now that I think of it, They should be prevented from interacting with the world for a few seconds to stop griefing of some sort.
What I meant about the towns, is that with towny, if you are not apart of that town you are not allowed to use items other than doors in that town.
When I used the deathchest plugin, if a player died in their town, they would not be able to recover their items due to the way towny was set up.
What I meant, is that a player should be immune from damage and dealing damage after they have respawned.
