Should the laptop save files as real files, or use nbt data?

I got the idea to use real files and folders instead of just NBT data.
These files will be in a dedicated folder in the world's files.

• Using files and folders:
  This way more and larger files can be made and more features can be made for files and folders. There're less issues this way.
• Using NBT:
  Can cause problems with the data for the laptop being too large, and some features I can think of to add probably can cause problems or is even unable to add.

You could create a ton of chaos by filling chunks with laptops

Maybe make it so it only creates laptop data when it's first started up? With a boot animation (and after the first boot it creates the data)?

Or abusing a potential exploit in gitweb to create exe files

Hmmm, that's possible with ComputerCraft too I think.
People have made scripts that can access the files and folders for computer craft from externally using a website.

Maybe every computer has 2MB nbt storage plus a player specific cloud network stored on the server.

Of course, this will have to be implemented in a way as to not break the virtual laptop accessible from the title screen (although the file system is currently still broken there as well)

I was thinking something similar to this, but instead of a cloud network (which is still a pretty cool idea and I'd love to think about this idea more), there could be a locally hosted server on the client so that if someone decides they need more storage, they can set up a quick local storage server (and maybe even connect it to GitHub)
