I installed VDD to be able to stream via Steam Link on my 4K TV (since I have a widescreen monitor, there is a mismatch in the resolution and didn't have full screen on the TV when streaming)
But I'm running into issue having VDD working for this kind of use case and I hoped someone could maybe point me in the right direction.
Here's what I did:
I added a 2nd display in VDD with the characteristics of my TV.
Turn the monitor off
Launch Steam Link on my Apple TV
The resolution used is the one from my PC monitor, also when I run Steam Link into "desktop mode", I can clearly see it uses monitor 1 which is my PC's monitor and not the one added by VDD with the matching resolution.
nevertheless, steam link defaults to the whatever display is set as the "main" display, so if your real display is set as the main, it will use that one
