Discrepancy of Views Info Tab

Live views on a show today was around 70. As as soon as the show became a video on demand, the views under the VIEWS INFO tab showed 664 views. How can that be? Are the discrepancy due to bots or something else?

FYI, this is saving the cumulative total.

if you want to reset on each live you must reset the key, otherwise next live with the same key will save last total + current live total.

How can it be automatically cut off and reset for each stream without changing the key? Some people like having a static key and if they have to change it just to get new view stats they are not going to like that.

If they chats can reset I do not see why the Live count can't as well.
