Feature request: Default settings for more options (e.g. Course layout)

So at the moment from the /admin/settings.php?section=formatsettingremuiformat page, we can default the following settings.

• Set the section/activities summary maximum length.
  format_remuiformat | defaultsectionsummarymaxlength
• Hide general section when empty
  format_remuiformat | hidegeneralsectionwhenempty
• Choose layout
  format_remuiformat | remuicourseformat
  Plus, Usage Tracking

What I would like is the ability to set defaults for the following additional settings from this page also:

• Course layout
• Hide general section when empty
• Show Teacher image

Context:
We create large numbers of Course and currently have to revisit each course to change these settings, which is a significant additional piece of work, taking hours to complete.
