Import of markdown zip fails

As described here I was able to find a temporary workaround to get into outline, but I'm still struggling to import a .zip of markdown and images that I previously exported from an older version of markdown.

When I try to import it, a small pop-up just briefly says "Upload Failed".

Any ideas where I could find some logs about this? or things to change to make it work?
