Can't switch kodi profile with VPN connected

First of all, thanks for this amazing addon! It did all I wanted right of the box.

I noticed one issue though, I can't switch kodi user profiles anymore.
The GUI will get stuck when you have selected the "Logoff " menu item.
I have waited for a few minutes, but nothing happens.

When I manually disconnect the VPN and than try to log off it will work with a small hiccup/delay. (fine with me)

When I try to switch from a profile without this addon this works without issues.

My platform:

• Odroid N2+ with CoreElec 20.2 Nexus
• NordVPN
